Another twist on logic of people

I found this story last week and it's bothered me ever since. This is a world of being connected pretty much all the time is it not? A man, prone to concussions, gets hurt on the football field and is fined $10,000 because he had the audacity to call his wife from the sidelines during a game to simply let her know that he was going to be ok. And he didn't even use his own phone, he borrowed one from a trainer or something...

Is it wrong to call your loved ones so they aren't sitting at home worrying?

I get that football players should be focused on their games but if it were my husband out there getting beat to a pulp and he has a high incidence of concussions you can bet that I would want to know if he were ok. And where was the foul in this man loving his wife so much that he thinks to give her a courtesy call like that? I commend him for this while the NFL punishes him. Another twisted story of logic if you ask me.

Who knows, maybe him and his wife have been discussing him quitting the game because of these very dangerous injuries...maybe he has kids and worries about being around for them....maybe it might just scare him enough to reach out to the woman in his life for some comfort and peace of mind....seriously...it was a short phone call...where is the crime?

I get that using a cellphone to make some phone call to gloat about a sweet play just to upset the other team is unwarranted but this?

Felony for one and sympathy for the drunks? Ummm, you decide

Small update to this story: Found this link today and am so very happy to hear this man is seeking self defense and that many, many people of society believe he was in the right........I left a comment at the story and at the end I mentioned this: If it were a woman behind that counter who did the same exact thing as this man you can damn well better believe she would never be charged with anything but instead use that self-defense plea and the world would sympathize! Just irritates me......

Ok, granted the guy should have stopped beating these women with the metal bar--most definitely-- but was he not practicing self defense to some extent? Did these woman physically attack him first because he was doing his job asking about some suspicious money they handed him? Maybe to some degree he felt threatened...who knows when someone is going to pull a weapon...not to mention drunk people to boot.

And the best part is how the reporter is so nonchalant about what these women are doing and then suddenly disgustingly describes what this guy did as gruesome.

And just an FYI, I don't condone what this guy did but at the same time...there is some level of wrong in how lopsided this story is.

More thugs

Those who support the unions and the teachers in Madison are a pretty questionable group. Hell, in any area really. It's frightening to realize that it's people such as the writer of this threat who 'support the union, the teachers and public workers'. I'm sorry but to think that the teachers of our children might actually associate with people like this is a bit bothersome.

Do you ever get the sense that our country is going to hell?

What is wrong with people in this world??!! This is so awful I can't even tell ya!

Ok, so racism has been around for eons...I get that. But tell me this....when is it that individual people will be held accountable not based on their race but based on their stupidity? Black, white, hispanic...in the end we are all created the same except for skin tones and an underlying shameful whispering that surrounds this world...omg, they did it because this person was black or hispanic...I have people too...I have white people, I have Indian people....omg, there are so many crimes against the indians I demand I gather my 'group' and plot a war against the white folks. But why????? To me that just sounds ridiculous.

Granted, this crime is absolutely horrible and unforgivable. White, black, hispanic or whatever, I would want to go after those who hurt my child if it were her...only the fire in my eyes wouldn't be images of a skin color but of a number of men with arms, legs, bodies, and heads that hurt my child....but then I would be deemed racists because my emotional reaction would be to seek the worst punishment against this group of black men...why is it so automatic to scream racist when a crime is committed against another of a different color than yourself?

White people rape black people, black people rape hispanic people, hispanic people rape asian people..I don't have proof of all this but I wouldn't be surprised to also learn that whites rape whites too and black people rape black people and so on--as the world turns!! But do those types of rapes wage a racial war when it occurs? Do black people play the race card because a black person they know was raped by another black person?

Oh, and hey, the pc terminology is MIA on this post...does that mean I'm racist or does it simply mean that I was raised in a generation where these words were ok to say? If you think I'm being racist and disrespectful...so be it cuz it's people like those who create upheavals such as this! I'm wronging them because I won't bow down and soft peddle around an over-sensitivity created by God knows what! I'm white and Indian and could really care less what term others may have for me because in the end, I'm just as human as the next guy! And notice I didn't say 'woman'....

Honestly...this little girl was an innocent child sexually assaulted by not one male but EIGHTEEN....she is hispanic, they were black. What if they chose her because she was vulnerable and too young and weak to defend herself? What if they chose her because she was just there? And just what if this girl grew up and DIDN'T hate black people but understood that others just have issues and their own demons? What if she grew up preaching to the crowds about accepting everyone for who they are? What if she became a voice of reason? It will all depend on how this is handled...I couldn't blame her for holding grudges but it's what she does with that as she grows older that matters.....

It is the adults that control how the children view others....if those impressionable young children are around adults constantly degrading another because they look different the result will most likely be quite damaging. I have no time for racial issues because people make a choice in this life....either change things as best as one can and try to pave a new path for those we make an impression on...or follow in the same footsteps as those before us and keep building the wall. DUMB!

Race related or not these are all people right? I cannot figure out if those who committed this heinous act have brains or emotions of any kind yet. I don't care what color their skin, these acts were done by grown men as well as some minor boys....regardless of friggen' skin color they are all beings...weather or not they're human is another thought all together. Take race out of the equation and open up a can of whoop ass!

All I know is it makes me absolutely sick to my stomach! This poor little girl having to live with this for the rest of her life....I certainly hope all who acted in this are charged!

I want a Happy Meal with a toy!

You just had to know this was right on the heels of stopping us evil smokers!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with the obesity problem in this country...it's everywhere. But it's personal choice for many to put the food in their mouths. Blaming McDonalds..well I believe I've posted on that before.

We limit snacks in this house, we limit our dinners out--the key words are 'WE LIMIT'! It's called making choices...apparently though there are those who just chose not to make choices but instead would welcome others to make that choice for them. What are we, robots?

Parent's do need to teach their kids to eat healthy, they DO need to take control and help their children learn what's acceptable and what's not. But apparently it's just easier to allow the government into our friggen homes to regulate, raise, and determine what's best for us and our children! Don't even get me started!

What is this country coming to? Government mandated health care, smoking bans everywhere, seat belt laws, and now dictating how private businesses should feed the public...what's next people! Wake the hell up!

The fence

How is it that people want their cake and to eat it too? Kicking and screaming adults are thee worst things to witness and I've seen plenty of that in an area that I have grown to dislike very much.

When people want something they jump in with both feet and grab it. But then, when the consequences of that thing they wanted SO badly turn sour, those people are the first to scream FOUL!

Fingers start to extend, hateful words start to spew, animosity grows and there seems to be a mini-war that erupts and all of it directed at another who didn't want what those people wanted in the first place. And why?

Well, that other side of the fence didn't want it because they knew the consequences. They screamed it to the roof tops and spread warnings everywhere. But it fell on many deaf ears.

Now, those who wanted their cake are pissed off and screaming foul because they don't like the consequences and it's all the other side of the fences fault. Tell me how that works?

Feeling some vindication this morning....

My, my, my....I can almost taste it! Only one more week left of these classes and I can finally say, "Wooooosaaaah!" There are some really combative people in my philosophy class that seem to want nothing more than to attack others for things they write and opinions they have. It's got me in a snit this morning.

I find it really amazing how 'open-minded' and diverse people say they are yet they seem to be the most judgmental of the bunch. They are quick to throw daggers, accusations and assumptions around about others they don't know anything about. They find ways to twist innocent statements into something completely ugly and reprehensible. Honestly, who are these people?

Yes, I've been getting attacked all week in my philosophy class for a single statement. This statement was in fact a lead-in to the actual question the instructor asked. I read the thread to P last night and he was appalled at what these two people were saying but the worst part? I wasn't pointing out anything more than an example....

Here is the statement that is causing all this shock and awe in my classroom with two of the other students: "A lot of horrible things have happened in history, especially to African Americans". From this ONE statement I've been accused of saying African Americans were treated the poorest, have been told the Jewish people were treated the worst because of hair color, have been told that it's wrong that I don't look at those others who were treated so poorly and also that I need to pay better attention to those in other countries that are starving. Just WOW!

Perhaps saying 'especially' could have been eliminated but all the same, the philosophers we're discussing are those who fought for the equal rights of blacks. I was simply using an example from the textbook we were reading from...I apologized and was once again chastised for my 'ignorance'.

Since when is it a contest who was treated the worst in history? Or even today? To me it was all horrible and in some instances I flinch a bit more with different things I hear about any given instance....the bottom line is it was all frigging wrong in my eyes; perhaps the African Americans are more prominent in my mind today because it wasn't so long ago that there were some changes made.

However, after watching to see if my instructor was going to reprimand my response to these two last night, I emailed P a big 'WAAAAHBAMMMM!' because she backed up my statement and gave me credit for my response. Yea, that sounds terrible but after 7 weeks of being nice to people and sucking it up for the sake of a peaceful tone in this class, I've had enough of those who find some sick and twisted satisfaction out of going after others from their high and mighty pedestals....enough already people!

She is only 9!

Do Russian women and little Russian girls have 'rape me' written across their foreheads? A 9-year old girl is raped because she dares to wear a bikini and it's her fault because men can't be held responsible for their actions since they aren't exposed to this much skin.
“You can't blame the locals; they have never seen such women. Foreign tourists must maintain a certain degree of modesty in their clothing. Walking on the beaches half-naked is bound to titillate the senses,” New Delhi's Mail Today newspaper quoted Pamela Mascarhenas, Goa's deputy director of tourism, as saying Friday.
A few weeks ago, wasn't it this same country that I wrote about rape being treated differently after midnight? This story is only one of a few that I discovered while clicking on links to read tonight...if a person goes to the side bar of this story or down below I'm sure they would find many other related stories....are these inflated? Are these in fact over-exaggerated? From what I'm getting out of these few articles I've read, it appears that those committee members or whoever the hell they are believe that more skin = license to rape!

RAPE IS RAPE and the rape of a little child is inexcusable!!!!!! I don't give two shits if this little girl was wearing a skimpy little string bikini! Two men, in their 30's thought enough about this for one of them to distract the little girls mom while the other proceeded to rape this little girl....is this for real or is this just some instance of conspiracy, one of the stories I linked says a doctor confirmed this is rape....is it or is it not...if this isn't true it would certainly be great to point this out to the world.

People have their beliefs, people have their cultures, people have a certain respect for modesty and dignity. It's because I live in this free country that reading something like this upsets me so much--perhaps its because of what I discovered in my research...there are some places in Goa where women are topless on the beaches. But in other things I've read, it seems that tourists are the only ones who are topless or who dare to go topless.

India is a very conservative place...Kudos to them BUT that is NO excuse to rape any woman or child and it certainly shouldn't be a reason to give when men can't control themselves. Nor is it a reason to use if a body of a girl is found mutilated or a woman is out after midnight!

All types of men are capable of going to our beaches and controlling themselves aren't they? Hell, they go to topless or nude beaches and are able to control themselves aren't they and really, in Minnesota there doesn't seem to be many nude beaches around but I would bet the men I know wouldn't assume it's ok to rape a woman who's exposing herself to the world! They know the difference between right and wrong;

I don't know, I guess I would have to look up the stats but raping a 9-year-old little girl? Wow....of course once again this article says the rape case has been blown out of proportion....what is the real story, did the little girl lay back and ask the two arrested to do her? Did mama tell these men to set this up? I would dearly love to hear that this is a farce.....

More smoking AND spitting bans being considered at the park.

Why should joggers be allowed to spit and not others? Seriously, if a jogger needs to spit he should really do so in the privacy of his own home and contaminate his or her own space, I certainly don't want to be exposed to someone else's germs. Eww, that's just completely gross! And really, why does a jogger need an entire park to spit in? What if a walker gets a bug in their mouth, should they count that in their protein intake for the day? Or what if a walker needs to vomit, should they simply swallow it and run home to get to the nearest receptacle in order to do this in the privacy of their own home? Of course none of us would want to witness the vomiting but come on people, lets get serious...

All this ranting from one little statement in this article: "People out jogging may need to spit because of physical activity," he said

Tell me again why they don't ban non-smokers from parks? Tell me why they don't have a smoking area, OUTSIDE, in the public park that is for anyone who would like to enjoy a nice day or a stroll? Why not confine non-smokers to a certain perimeter of the park and take away their rights as citizens of this fine country? Why not make a jogging park specifically for non-smoking health nuts who are allowed to eat and drink and exercise however they want in this great country.

I tire of the argument with non-smokers. When it's one of their God given rights being taken away perhaps I'll hop on the anti-bandwagon and fight to tear away some of their rights and freedoms...they don't get it, they are like talking to brick walls. It's a sad, sad day. While I may not be a smoker for much longer, my loyalties lie NOT with the smokers but the smokers rights as Americans....when will people get that????

She asked for it, she dared to be out after midnight

Some of the things in the news are so completely outrageous. Rape don't count if it happens after midnight. Wow..that is really something to think about. If I were walking at 1:00 in the morning enjoying a beautiful night and some thug decided it was time to rape me it would only be my fault. Wow....

Isn't rape, rape no matter how you look at it? The guy, Shantaram Naik, is no one I have ever heard of or who has really been of any interest to me until I read this completely over the top article. Or more appropriately, this idea! It's not in America thank goodness ... these other countries though? There are really some twisted things that go on in this world!

Seeing Red

Did the girlfriend know a violent criminal was buried within that boyfriend of hers? Do people ever watch how their mate interacts with their kids before they trust them to babysit? Who can a person trust? Was there a history of violence with this guy? If so, what should happen with the mother who left the child with them?

So many questions come to mind whenever I read something like this....it's really sad and infuriating that such a senseless act occurs against young children. And such a violent way...
I only hope for this little girl to recover.

Just too disgusted for words

Our son is 10, he's a great great kid with rare moments of defiance and back talking. But overall, he's just an all around rambunctious boy.

Reading this article just makes all sorts of things go through my head...mostly, WHY???? The fact that the mother brought this child back in the house when he tried to escape...will she also be charged with endangerment and aiding and abetting?

A boy must be pretty desperate to seek refuge in an oven!!! And then for his own father (or mother???) to turn it on while he's hiding?

Oh, and along the abusive lines...this daycare provider has been safety-pinning daycare kids to beds after taking their arms out of their jammies and pinning the material together behind their backs making kiddie straight jacket. Eight years she's been getting away with this...what the hell is wrong with people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Punishment for the beasts and the bus driver too!!!!

UPDATE: Students in Belleville school bus attack are charged

One commenter pointed out that if the victim had been a black or homosexual, this would have been called a hate crime. Any thoughts on that????? I tend to agree with that because people believe that anything against an African American or a homosexual is in fact an automatic hate crime and those who attacked should be charged with the works. I don't care what the reason was but I do think that people have issues with violence that aren't always due to another persons race or gender preferences. If a person is a homophobe then charge them that way, if a person is a racist than charge them that way but if a person is just a jerk who can't control some insane urge because they find some sick twisted pleasure in beating others then it is what it is...don't label everything against a black man/woman or homosexual a friggin' hate crime. Otherwise I may just have to start screamning 'HATE CRIME' when I see something like this!!!!! Waaaah!

Little BRATS!!!! Hope they get what's coming to 'em. (if the victim provoked this, he should be punished as well, don't get me wrong here) Of course in the past the blacks were treated this very way so I can't completely go off on this at a racial slant because back then it was wrong too...it's irritating no matter what race a person is when others decide they 'just don't want to sit next to another'. One commentor stated that the victim is a nerd....what the hell does that have to do with anything?????

And where is the bus driver??? I hear him yelling but what is he doing continuing to drive after that first attack? Are they directed to just yell and keep driving in this sort of situation???????

My kids have come home with some stories of their bus rides to and from school. They've been in shouting matches, name calling, threats...all sorts of things. The most the bus driver has done is tell the kids to shut-up or have them change seats! Our kids have been told that if there is any problems on the bus, they are to come to us and we will take care of them, the problem, and the non-responsive bus driver. Fun times! It's not easy putting any one of them on that bus every morning, kids in this area are getting worse every year.

The respect factor in this country is crap!!! The adults are no better when they encourage their kids to bully and be little shits! I have witnessed parents doing this and cannot believe my ears yet they are the first people who demand respect and claim innocence when their kids are the ones getting into trouble. Double standards ..... wow.

Change needs to start with the adults because the children of this world are out of control!!!

To Each His Own

Warning: Rant coming, read at your own risk!

Being a smoker, I can say that I wish I never started. Trying to quit has proven very difficult but that doesn't mean it won't ever happen. When I saw the title of this article, I just had to read it because as a smoker, I can tell you that I have felt like a leper to those who don't smoke.

I am not a smoker that will blow smoke in others faces, I ask those who don't smoke if they mind if I light up if we're in a vehicle or in an enclosed area or I just won't smoke around them, we don't smoke in our home, we only smoke in one of our vehicles and rarely when the kids are in it or even others who don't smoke. Pat and I are pretty conscious smokers, if anti-smokers can grasp that concept. There really is such a thing believe it or not.

I was in the smoking area (the only area designated to us criminals) of my college one day where all us terribly diseased people hang out and fill our lungs with death when out the door walks a non-smoker. She proceeded to fake cough and make nasty faces at all of us while she waved her hands and walked through our black cloud of death in our tiny little smoking area outside.

It is people like that that piss me off beyond belief. We are smoking where we are out of the way, we are in our designated area, we are minding our own business, we are following the rules set forth for our disgusting habit and the only people we are hurting is ourselves. Why then, when this girl has NUMEROUS other doors to walk out of would she choose to walk out the smoking area door??????? To cough her little cough and make a spectacle of herself?

I would like to also point out that our smoking area also had a table with an umbrella and some chairs, those were removed and placed in the non-smoking area. Signs were posted stating the we had to be 50-feet from the door or they would take our smoking area away from us and they also put the same sign at that 50-foot mark....is this sort of thing done to non-smokers or people who drink???? I don't think so.

This country is about freedoms, freedom to live your life how you want....no, not everyone is going to like the choices others make and I can respect that. I don't walk through a non-smoking area and scream, "OH MY GOD, you guys don't smoke! That is SOOOOO disgusting?" Why would I do that? Perhaps I'm just not one to judge how others want to live their lives. If people want to smoke, drink, do drugs, be sex maniacs, whatever, that's their choice.

I have voiced on this blog MANY times my disgust for this and that but that doesn't mean I get in the faces of others and demand that they make changes to their lifestyle, or ban them from my life. If people don't like smokers, that's great for them, I applaud that they never picked up the habit or were able to change that aspect of their life. It's only when they have to be so damn mean and nasty and forget that regardless of our nasty habit that beneath that cloud of toxic smoke there lies a human being......smoking does not make the person....nor does not smoking. Would be nice if people could remember what it is to be kind and human to others.....

This just really upsets me

While life has been super busy around here, I do try to keep up a bit with this and that. I can tell you this, had I not been so busy I would have written about all this crap quite awhile ago! I find it offensive, disgusting, degrading, and absolutely unacceptable the way people act in this country towards women, towards men, towards children, towards each other. Freedom of speech is one thing but to insult and throw around such distasteful accusations and to conveniently forget that people are human is something that I have no patience for! This woman sums up something on my mind quite nicely. Great article, I thought I would share.

ANDREA TANTAROS: The Latest Media Blood Sport — Attacking Conservative Women

By Andrea Tantaros
Republican Political Commentator/FOXNews.com Contributor

A growing trend seems to be emerging. From Perez Hilton to Playboy’s “Conservative Women Hate List” to David Letterman’s lewd comments about Sarah Palin, it appears that attacking women – specifically conservative women – is not only all the rage, but oddly, acceptable.

————-

The more acceptable it becomes to express violent, crass language against women in the public arena the more you can expect our country to fray at the seams.

————-

I’m not talking about attacks from bottom feeder leftist blogs either. Notable mainstream brands like the Miss USA Organization, “The Late Show” and Playboy magazine have all lost their sense of humor and their sense of decency by allowing conservative women to become a punching bag — and a punch line — for the left.

Watch Andrea Tantaros discuss this topic with America’s Newsroom Host Megyn Kelly:

Forgoing all boundaries, a party that once used to claim to own the violence against women issue has embraced it and let their politics run them when it comes to the issue of misogyny.

On its face, this isn’t even a political issue. It’s a women’s issue –- a human issue that transcends politics. But why, when it comes to the most serious and sensitive attacks against women the National Organization for Women spokeswoman warrants a missing person’s report?

Carrie Prejean was called the most offensive four and five letter words by Miss USA judge Perez Hilton’s after she expressed her traditional views on gay marriage. Was he scolded by one of the organization’s owners, Donald Trump? Hardly. Trump actually expressed willingness to allow Hilton to judge at next year’s competition.

And that’s just the beginning. Playboy magazine published a vile, incendiary list of conservative women it would like to engage in hate sex with, and it was only after public outcry that it pulled the article. Its response was watered down, to say the least. Where was that writer’s editor? (And that editor’s mind, moreover?) It doesn’t take an expert to know that the first stage of violence is thinking about it, then expressing it, then actually doing it.

David Letterman made a disgusting joke about Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s underage daughter and he didn’t stop there. He continued to make an off color joke about the Governor’s appearance making many want to invoke slaps but not against their knees.

Palin is apparently more popular than Letterman. Thanks to growing pressure from viewers Letterman offered — not one — but two — mea culpas. But where was CBS from the start? It was only after the public got involved that the comedian began to react with some seeming sincerity.

For the record, Palin should never appear on his show. Protests calling for his resignation should continue with a larger message to the general population and television executives everywhere: distasteful behavior against females will not be tolerated.

The United States, a champion for women’s rights throughout the world, will have a tough time wagging it’s finger at countries that are less than progressive in their attitudes toward women and crimes against women all over the world when we tolerate hate speak at the expense of the American female, for a few laughs or fame, no less.

The First Amendment protects free speech but there is no reason that we, as citizens and consumers, should buy it. When it comes to those who want to disrespect any woman, we can take it to their bottom line and not only speak out, but also boycott their business.

Violence against women is wrong, no matter what party affiliation, not to mention it’s just not funny. The more acceptable it becomes to express violent, crass language against women in the public arena the more you can expect our country to fray at the seams.

Better get used to it I guess

I really don't need to elaborate on this whole thing and I won't bore you with my venom but I will say one thing....apology or not, I find this to be a very degrading, disturbing and disgusting thing the President of the United States could do! What sort of person is this that is representing this country????? As those dems would so proudly point out in the days of the Bush administration......."I didn't vote for this guy!" What a ______________! (fill in the blank!)

You've got Sarah Palin who has a special needs child throwing in her two cents....can't imagine how this comment made the millions of parents feel out there who have to live with, care for and tend to their special needs children and adults.

And the best for last? The man who will make Obama eat those words, Michigan's Kolan McConiughey, speaking his peace.........nothing more needs to be said........

Invasion

Why should this even be something the president needs to consider???? What reason would anyone have to WANT to see the coffins of our fallen service members????? Political reasons of course and some who would like to pay their respects but really, these soldiers and their families deserve the privacy to mourn. I've seen over the years how the left has disrespected our military men and women and I find it completely repulsive and disgraceful to the point of nausea!

If a family wants to display their dead soldier to the world, take a photo and display it on the internet. That sounds VERY harsh and heartless and for that I apologize however, that this is even something that the president is CONSIDERING just upsets me....it is NOT our right to look at the coffins of men and women who have sacrificed for our lives. It is not our RIGHT to ogle the grief or to 'see what war does'. It is our right to say our silent prayers and hope for the safety of those who sacrifice so much for us!

Frankly, it's completely twisted that anyone would WANT to photograph such and 'event'.

And this is ok because?????????

Where are the screams and rages from those who believe so vehemently that displaying an effigy of Barack Obama is racist and disrespectful when my "favorite" group of animal lovers walks around in KKK garb?????? Huh, where are they?

Oh, I see, they're standing outside of the Westminster Dog Show.....

Warning: If you don't want to read a rant, go no further

Here it comes:
Small children are especially susceptible to third-hand smoke exposure because they can inhale near, crawl and play on, or touch and mouth contaminated surfaces. Third-hand smoke can remain indoors even long after the smoking has stopped. Similar to low-level lead exposure, low levels of tobacco particulates have been associated with cognitive deficits among children, and the higher the exposure level, the lower the reading score. These findings underscore the possibility that even extremely low levels of these compounds may be neurotoxic and, according to the researchers, justify restricting all smoking in indoor areas inhabited by children. (emphasis mine)
The fingers of the crusaders are slowly reaching into the privacy of our homes; your homes. With each dumb study a part of YOUR freedom is being ripped away. Another smoking study released and surprise, now we have third hand smoke. Hm. At what point will fourth hand smoke come into play and fifth, and sixth, and suddenly global warming is the smokers fault?

Smoking is the blame for an eye twitch it seems! And if you don't smoke and develop said eye twitch, well, it's because that person with the eye twicth may have walked past a person who just put out a cigarette. (hypothetical) Give me a break!

For me to help the cause that I see infringing upon the rights of every single American? Nope, I'm a rebel..the more they push the longer I'll smoke. If I want to choose to die a horrible death, it's inevitable already because ALL my life I've been exposed to second hand smoke, third hand smoke and hey....FIRST HAND SMOKE. And I'm going to die anyway so really, why shouldn't I be able to live my life how I want to? How I choose? Who are any of these people who wouldn't offer up a damn dime to help me quit if I asked them too...they would then tell me that it was my fault that I started therefore they won't help because I made that stupid choice. Are they SERIOUSLY doing it because they care about people or are they just doing it for the feel of a power trip??????

Hello people, you may hate smokers, you may hate the smell, it may disgust you beyond disgust but OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE THIS FOR WHAT IT WILL BE!!!!! I don't give a damn if people CHOOSE to smoke in their homes, in their cars, on their deck, in their beds...I DON'T CARE. I don't HAVE to agree with the way people CHOOSE to live but the beauty of that is it is still my choice to disagree and I am FREE to simply WALK away if I don't like it. Is that not what feet are for?

Simply put: BUTT OUT! (No pun or inside meaning intended)
