Beautiful does not equal suitable!

What is it about outer beauty that skews the image of what might lurk inside? Why do people see a beautiful house and just rule out that there might be horrible things going on inside of it? Why do people see a beautiful person and believe that person is a good human being when inside they're selfish, and ugly as sin?

This woman is what lurked inside this beautiful house. And she did some ugly, ugly things.

Is this what adoption is all about? Walking dollar signs that get tied to each other while the supposed 'parents' are enjoying all their 'hard work'?

And who is it exactly that allowed this woman to adopt these ki...oops, I mean 'dollar signs'? Do those who adopt out also get a commission when they off load a burden?

Read for yourself cuz I'm mad as a wet hen about this! It's bad enough that people kill their kids but doing this while the children suffer endlessly is unforgiveable and this woman could stand to....I will not even say what's on my mind!

Screaming on the inside!

I've put up this picture because my thoughts on this are too angry to rant. Planting a seed for women, children, to look at every man as some sort of monster is how I see this. Yes, there are monsters out there lurking but for the record, they aren't all men! If I were a man, I would feel outrage, sadness, shame, like an outcast, scared to be a dad or a good uncle or a good brother. I would be afraid to walk within 2 feet of a child. This is ... ugh. I, as a woman, am so tired of this crap! Women complain because their husbands don't help out more with the kids...how can they when they are all being scrutinized for every little hug, caress, kiss?!

Elian with a twist

I have kept pretty quiet about that whole Elian Gonzales fiasco in many instances on this blog. Knowing it was such a hot issue and divided so many people, including Pat and myself I've always thought it best not to bring upon myself arguements because I still believe the right thing was done. Our house was a hotbed of debate, one in which our kids will never forget nor will we.

I stood on the side of the father and his rights. I stood on the side that this country had NO right to take Elian no matter how much I would have wanted him to have the life of us Americans. His mother brought him here illegally...in my eyes it was wrong. And I thought the way the family displayed this little boy was shameless and no better than Cuba. He was a pawn in a political agenda by all involved and it sickened me.

I found this article today: U.S.-Cuba custody fight brews over girl

While much different it also has hints of similarities that dredged up all sorts of feelings with me. This little girl is here LEGALLY. Mama went to great trouble to bring her here. Yet the government of Florida will not bring the father here so he can fight for custody...Fight, against the government. There is just really something wrong with that.

I know that Cuba is not ideal in any way to how we live. It's not a great place for kids. But the idea of a father who wants his child is what sways me. If in fact this man wants his little girl back because the mother has been proven unfit...why in the hell is this country so against a father and his rights!!!!!!! The rights of the ILLEGALS in this damn country are ALWAYS used in court cases, but since a man is on an island in Cuba, he doesn't really matter.

It angers me that fathers are looked at and scrutinized and labeled by this country. That they have to FIGHT for any damn rights to their children! That a woman merely has to say she suspects abuse by that father and wham....that father is blacklisted.

Is it not in the best interest of the children to keep them with their biological parent? And if the mother requests that the child go back to her father...ugh. And not to mention, this child is in the welfare system living with...not a family member but a friend, an aquaintance. And that aquaintance...I have to stop.

Read the article and weigh in.

Who has the Munchausen's?

Homeschooling, what is the deal? I've been seeing various stories pertaining to the 'attack' on homeschoolers so I finally decided I would read one. Granted, the credibility of World Net Daily is somewhat questionable so I did a search and found another article. Whether that's more accurate, who's to say but with Christianity under attack and many homeschoolers being more Christian, is it really all that out in left field?

Another family accused of letting children 'eat Cheerios dry'

Family Stands Firm in Face of Social Worker’s Threats

This is very disturbing to read simply because the underhandedness that's involved and for what reason????

As a parent, these are my children, if I want them to be educated in a Christian setting that is my choice. If I want them to have dry Cheerios for a snack, that is also my choice. Or is it?

The question of the rights of the parent regarding decisions made for these minor children has been really hovering. I see things like this and can only think of one thing...invasion.

The obsession that people have over the well being and the best interest of the children is really quite scary. Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton parading them around like they're the Pied Pipers rats to better their 'for the sake of the kids' babbling and the 'it takes a village' mentality sickened me.

The child pawns in this sick game of life, being used to make political statements, being pitted against God, their parents, being used to make a point. But in reality, how much care goes into it when these kids are uprooted from a decent family or their life is in chaos because mom and dad are so distraught over doing absolutely nothing but what they, AS THE PARENTS, feel is best for their kids.
