Federal trouble now...

So, the woman who rammed into the school bus and killed those four children..she's in the news again. This time it's on federal charges. She's facing up to a possible 40 years for the murder of those children...whoohoo. Now she has to face up to her charges of identity theft..and so does her boyfriend. She used a false name, a false social as well as a false birth date to obtain a MN id.

Hey, If New York Wants them, let 'em have them

Apparently New York is trying to start a new trend? Let them have the illegals. If it means that much to them to make the illegals feel more welcome, then all the power to those wonderfully loving New Yorkers. BOO YAH!

You go NY...Oh, wait, it's the Governor. Perhaps he has plenty of room in the Governors mansion to house them too. If he thinks that New York is his alone then he best start making some room.

47% of democrats, his own party, oppose this move yet this Spitz character is completely ignoring their position and taking his own.

If this is what the dems are planning to do with our country, then it's a very scary day. Although most of us knew that the day the votes came in eh?

I didn't realize that trying to protect our country was such a 'wrong' thing to do???? Apparently 9/11 means nothing to anyone anymore, although, with all the hatred and accusations that have been thrown around, has 9/11 affected any of those on the left?

The subject of Illegal Immigration has been a long standing issue and a problem in this country. I couldn't go to Europe and live there without a work visa, or being completely scrutinized at the airport. If we didn't pick up our baggage within 10 minutes of arrival, they would've taken it and confiscated it for their own safety. Security at Charles DeGalle was insane! But I respected that. I couldn't just walk into the DMV and obtain a drivers license or legal citizenship just because they believed I would improve their economy or simply because I needed one.

If I travel all over the country, illegally, then the repercussions should be serious! Not a slap on the wrist and a drivers license. What should cue this guy off, LOGICALLY is the word Illegal.

When exactly did the word illegal become such a dirty word in this country? It isn't a dirty word to me, it's just simply about what's right and what's wrong. We might as well just scrap that word and have a free-for-all country. One of mayhem and chaos with no rules. Kinda like Lord of the Flies. Hm.

I used to think that this was a great country but it seems that each day there's more being regulated, more being taken away from our own citizens, less respect and less forethought into the future of the decisions that are being made now. Perhaps it's just my negative mood right now but what I see coming in our future and that of our kids is pretty bleak.

I'm just in a snit tonight. Things like those that I've been reading for the last hour really make my blood boil. Forgive my negativity, it will pass I'm sure.

This just isn't right!

Again, an example of how the American people must cater to the minorities! Losing your job because you don't speak Spanish, or being demoted.

Why is it that the immigrants come to this country but they don't have to learn to speak English? Why are people like you and me being ousted because we don't speak with a foreign tongue? Let's all go to Mexico or Europe and force them to speak our language or else! This is absolutely crazy!

I understand a language barrier in the field of firefighting, they should all be able to understand directions. But to what extent? How can they hire NON-ENGLISH speaking employees and fire those who are born and bred in America? I just don't get it?

I don't think it's right, I don't think it's fair, and I certainly don't think that this country should have to bend the rules to cater in this respect! Give all the jobs to the immigrants and let them have this country for pete's sake. Just put us all out on the streets and fergeddabout us!

I read another article of a man who has to move his business because he's living in an area where most everyone speaks Spanish. He's being booted for that reason according to some but ultimately, the landlord of the building wants the immigrants to work and rent the property. He wants the English speaking guy out. I don't know the circumstances of that letter from the landlord or the history of this renter as it says he was late on his rent among other things but it's what the landlord said in the article that makes one wonder.

As pointed out in a comment to this article, if it were you or I driving without a license/insurance, we would be arrested and our cars towed. Why is it that setting up a road block and checking for illegal DRIVERS is now targeting illegal aliens?

Boooooo-friggin hoooooooo, get these lawbreakers off the damn roads and make them suffer the way us Americans must when we break the laws! White, black, hispanic, asian, whatever, if they break the laws set forth in this country, then they too should suffer the consequeneces!

The ability to walk right into to the bases of our military should be stopped. Especially in a time of war. Thankfully, the FBI was on these guys like stink on doody!

But wait a minute, these people aren't evil, they're the epitome of peace. We have no right retaliating for what this religion of peace did on 9/11. They should just be allowed to walk around and kill Americans whenever they feel like it.

We shouldn't be stopping illegal aliens from invading this country. They only want to make a living and they help our economy. And besides, killing possilby hundreds of troops in one sweep would help our environment.

According to the FBI report, 3 of these guys are in America ILLEGALLY!!!!!!!!!!! And this should just be ignored.

It appears that immigrants in MN are scared? More arrests have been made and the tissues are soaked with sympathy.

"It's a devastating situation," said Gloria Contreras Edin, the director of Centro Legal, a Twin Cities-based immigrant-rights group. "At this point, some families have fled the area ... some restaurants have closed and people are afraid to go outside their homes."

Edin said Friday that she visited Jennie-O and claimed the size of the work shifts had been reduced by 75 percent since federal agents began their arrests because scared workers were staying away.

Maybe they're fleeing because they have something to hide???? If someone runs from the authorities, in my eyes it means they've done something they shouldn't have. Silly me, what do I know.

Edin said Friday that she believed about 50 immigrants have been arrested; a day earlier, a Willmar activist estimated that about 100 people had been detained. Edin also claimed agents were going into homes without warrants and randomly stopping Hispanics around town.

Tim Counts, a spokesman for the Immigration, Customs and Enforcement Agency, said most of the people who have been arrested are illegal immigrants with criminal records. He said agents have also arrested others who were found to be in the country illegally, such as those who had been deported but then returned.

Counts declined to say how many people have been arrested but said the number was "significantly fewer than 100." He also said rumors of agents stopping Hispanics at the Wal-Mart in Willmar were "absolutely false," and he sharply criticized the activists' characterization of the arrests, especially charges that agents have gone into homes without warrants.

"Some people who claim to have the best interests of the immigrant community at heart are the same people who spread false rumors to create confusion and fear," he said.

Gotta love those activists and those sympathizers. They seem to be what's making the world go round these days.

Pass the bacon

When it comes to shopping, many people want to get through the check-out process in a timely manner and most times it happens.

Occasionally at the stores we go to in Wisconsin, a cashier will have to call on another or it's customer to scan through the alcohol because the cashier is too young. That is understood! The sale of cigarettes, a cashier must be a certain age. With both of these it's an age thing, something I can respect and support.

But who would think that while digging out your money that suddenly you would be asked to scan the bacon???? Bacon, in plastic packages...or that another cashier would be called upon to do this dirty deed! Muslims working in retail/grocery stores are now on a new mission. They won't scan bacon for religious reasons. I wonder when the customer will be fined for daring to bring the bacon to a Muslim cashier.

I am so sick and tired of people coming to this country and trying to change the way it works. Crying about how their rights are being stomped on. Great, come here, live the American dream but do so on the expectation that our culture isn't yours!

Go work in construction or be an interior decorator. But watch out for the dogs. Why come here, to this free country, if all they want to do is change it to better suit them? Everyone wants a peice of American pie but they also want to eat it too.

Time for them to get a new job

There are so many people I disagree with, so many beliefs that don't coincide with me. If I had to count the numerous times I have had to put aside my own feelings about another I would be a billionaire!

Muslims need to find other means in which to make money if they are going to remain stubborn and unwilling to respect the decision on this whole cab driving thing. Other religions are way under attack in this country, why then should the Muslim religion be respected?

Some will argue that there are those, of the Christian faith, who refuse to administer the morning after pill...but wait a moment on that one...that is about the belief that there is a life inside of another, that there is a baby and by administering that it is in essence considered murder in the eyes of some. Driving a cab with a seeing-eye dog or sealed alcohol is not about taking the life of that Muslim cab driver. It's about getting from point A to point B.

I see it more as a power struggle for the Muslims...like getting prayer rooms in airports and colleges and arenas. POWER is what it's all about.

“I am Muslim. I’m not going to carry alcohol,” Abdi Mohamed, a driver for Bloomington Cab, told a Metropolitan Airports Commission panel that gathered to hear public opinion on the proposals.

Hassan Mohamud, a Muslim imam and adjunct law professor at William Mitchell College of Law, said the Muslim cab drivers are only trying to support their families, both here and in their strife-torn home country, and are being placed in an impossible situation.

And there it is folks, the pity line. Those poor Muslims are only trying to support their families. What about those who need to catch a cab to get to the airport in order to reach a conference for work. I would bet they have families too, some may even be over in Iraq fighting. Hmm, isn't it great how we must pander to those of different nationality?

If they want to participate in human trafficking go back to Mexico and do so! Sorry, that is a very bold statement but the life of a baby being bartered for a measley $1500. I don't think I would feel worth that much if someone bought and sold me for $1500. The least they could have done was offer $1555. Enough to get gas for this womans car then.

Which is worse, the mother who sold the baby and bought a car with that money or the people who bought the baby? I can't decide.

The mom is in this country illegally to boot. So as I said, go back to your own homeland and practice your inhumane, and illegal practices! Oh, perhaps that's why she wanted a car. Come to America for the health care and then flee the country when you get that nice new car for the life of your baby!

As the media panders to the emotions of the illegals, how hard their life is, I get more and more angry about this issue. I apologize for my cold and heartless post here but there are times when I need to be angry! This is one of them.

Come to America all you want but respect it's laws and what this country can offer you because of its laws.
