Homeless woman's horrible death
She was doused with gas and set on fire after she told police who had robbed her -- 2 women held


I certainly won't say that this woman's life was one to look up to but I can most certainly say that she did not deserve to die in such a vicious way either!

Good grief, what is wrong with people? At the age of 29 and 30 to kill a homeless woman by burning her to death is so insanely mental I don't even know what to say!

Pat and I met a homeless man quite a few years ago when we lived in St. Paul. He would sit with us at the coffee shop and tell us his story. He didn't smell like perfume, his hands were huge and he drank lysol. And he was ok about his life.

We met him in the dead of winter and talked to him about the cold and survival. He at one time worked, had a home, a family, a life. He had a daughter that he talked about but never saw. Life became too overwhelming for him.

We would slip him $5 to go to the Burger King next door and get some food but Pat and I knew that he would probably use it for his addiction. Were we ok with that? Well, yes and no. We didn't want to contribute to his demise but at the same time, this lonely homeless man was content to just be. To meet new people and tell his story.

It is sad that there are homeless people in this world. It's sad that there are people out there who look down on them and treat them like scum. They are just as human but with very different circumstances. And many of them have a story to tell, many of them have addictions. But at least they aren't out there burning someone alive or killing people.

To burn one to death after allegedly robbing her...did these two women think that just because she was homeless that she mattered to no one?
