EEEEKS!!!! We got bats!

Talk about bizarre! As I was finishing up with my post last night Pat said, "Oh s***, there's a bat in here!" I of course stopped everything, said "WHAT???", jumped off my chair and hid on the floor behind our loveseat. ROFLMAO

Yes, I am a fraidy cat and bats have got to be one of those creatures that give me the willies. This bat was soaring all over our living room, swooping down here and there, Pat is holding a pillow in case it dives his way all the while telling me to get the deck door open so we can get the thing out and asking me to get the fishing net.

No, I was NO help at all with that thing flying around over my head. In fact, I was whimpering on my floor everytime it swooped at the loveseat. Finally it went to circle in our laundry area and I quick got shoes and ran down to the garage to get a fishing net thinking the whole time that "Man, there is probably bats all over out here and its really dark out". LOL

Well, when I got back into the house, the bat was nowhere to be seen. I'm walking around behind Pat looking for this tiny little creature in a crouched postition with Pat in front with the fishing net poking drapes and other various things. We scoured every nook and cranny of this house and the bat was just gone.

We have no idea where it came from but all I know is that I hope we never have another one in this house!

I know, they're pretty harmless but all the same, there are just some things in this life that scare the bigeezis outta me! Bats have got to be in the top 5 of my list!
