Driving on a suspended license and completely sober, a man hits and drags an 11-yr. old girl for roughly 1/2 a mile before a couple in a car chased him down and got him to pull over. Did he not know he hit something? Anything?
The little girl was alive during this, and is facing multiple surgeries, an amputated arm, and multiple broken bones. Why? Because this man didn't stop his vehicle. Had he stopped, this little girl would have suffered maybe minor injuries.
Must be the day in our state to post such tragic stories about children or something.

11-year-old in critical condition, her arm amputated; no one knows why he didn't stop
Who I am in a nutshell: "To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a little better; whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is the meaning of success." **Ralph Waldo Emerson**
