Allegiance to pledge gets award
Mayor hands out monthly honor to OCC students for defending tradition at meetings.
Contrary to what one of the commentors said, the Pledge of Allegiance is not a democrat or republican thing. It is about our country, lives that were lost fighting for this country.
As for the commentor? If you don't love the liberties and the freedoms that you have in this country, go live in the Middle East. I'm sure you'll be welcomed with tape and bombs to go pledge your allegiance to our troops!
