Let's hope my thoughts on this are just a mirage

My first thought while reading this is 'what idiot thought that this would sit well with women?' Well, apparently, some will see no problem with this but for me, there is a big problem! And I mean a BIG one!

Oh, that's right, I shouldn't be so close minded and such a bigot. But when it occurs to me that I have 3 daughters, that I'm an actual female, I WILL be a close-minded bigot with this.

I guess I can be thankful that it's happening only in New York but why not just open the flood gates now and get it over with!

Oh, well the story would help huh....Crossdressers allowed to use whichever bathroom they feel like using. No, that is not really what my problem is. The problem I have was actually brought up in the article:

"Concern was expressed by another rider that sexual predators could now dress as women and lurk in women's restrooms."

Does this not create a new way in which men can openly dress up as women and 'use' the facility? After all, behind closed doors would present the perfect environment.

Sorry, this is just not ok. I don't have a problem with people who crossdress. In fact, I'm quite intrigued by the whys of it. If you ask me, dressing up like a woman is a pain in the ole keister. I prefer sweats, baggy shirts and slippers. Why anyone would want to purposely dress in bras and thongs, shave their legs and armpits, do their hair and make-up, well you get the point.

But it's a scary thought and aggravating on top of it that this decision was even pondered. It goes along the lines of that very last post I put up...the outrage I feel over this, the possible affect this could have...stop it now before it's to late. Ahh, who am I kidding, that's just too much to hope for...common damn sense!
