Kerry: Get educated or 'get stuck in Iraq'
"The Massachusetts senator told the students: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq. ..."
Where in the hell do I begin! I am going to be using plenty of profanity as that is what I do when something angers me this much.
"Democratic Sen. John Kerry warned students in a campaign speech last night that if they don't study hard and get a good education they might "get stuck in Iraq."
Warned students???? WARNED them??? From what, VOLUNTARILY enlisting in the military because they have a love for America, they believe in their freedoms and their country, in you and me, they want to support and follow through with their own beliefs???? Oh, that's right, they'll be considered dumb if they enlist. All the things the troops have been called, accused of, blamed for, and all the hate they have had to endure from people like John Kerry...God help this man and his ilk for their own damn stupidity!
To me it seems more like he gave them an ultimatum and tried to turn them against a military that granted this man, John F.-ing Kerry, the right to speak in such a manner!!!! What a ... I won't say it, its a bad word! Funny, he's a Vietnam Vet, apparently he can't get past his own stupidity. If he really wanted to warn students he should have told them not to grow up to be like him.
"But with a growing firestorm of criticism, Kerry decided to hold a press conference this afternoon in Seattle where he is campaigning for Democratic candidates. The senator said he would not apologize, calling his comment a "botched joke about the president and the president's people, not about the troops."I guess this is Bush's fault too huh? How? How is it that:
"Let me make it crystal clear, as crystal clear as I know how," Kerry said. "I apologize to no one for my criticism of the president and his broken policy. If anyone owes our troops in the fields an apology, it is the president and his failed team."
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq. ..."translates into blaming Bush? This was directed at students, education, and the troops in Iraq!
If there is one man that I have grown very sour towards it has got to be this man. He has quite a history of saying things that the dems have had to backpeddle for. Why do the dems continue to pick up this morons trash and allow him to speak publicly? How can he insult thousands of troops and their families as well as Americans this way and no one say anything?????
I have talked before about how I hate how the dems say they support our troops but in the end, their true feelings, such as Kerry's, come out. I have read and heard some heinious words since this war began and it only makes me support it and our military more. This is one very prime example of what I have talked about. And then he has the gall to blame it on the White House???? What planet is this guy from!
With my daughter joining the military, she is privvy to what this man said. She is extremely insulted, an A/B student, and smart as a whip. She could probably win a debate against Kerry hands down! Examples of military and just how 'dumb' they really are? Visit Michelle Malkin, she dug up a few statistics. You must scroll down a ways but I encourage you to read all of it.
Forgive me for my anger but this sort of behavior is unforgiveable in my book. I am 100% behind every troop that sacrifices everything they have in their life for this country! I believe in them because they believe in this country and what it stands for, they are brave, courageous and so much more! Shit, their all lazy and dumb, silly me! /sarcasm/
I will not be polite if another comes here and leaves a comment trying to explain what this man meant. Just a warning. It's all very clear to me and the many soldiers and their families what he said. I don't usually leave a warning for commentors, guess I'm learning from the best...John F.-ing Kerry.
