Ipods should have no rights

Ban Proposed On Walking While Talking, Listening To iPod

According to some unnamed people, crosswalks are supposed to be safe. Even if using an ipod or whatever the heck these new devices are named! Drivers are just supposed to ALWAYS travel at a snails pace and pay attention....Oh yeah, I definately agree with this.

When it comes to crosswalks, you damn right drivers should pay attention...but they don't. However, if the pedestrian is jaywalking, who's fault would it be then??????? The ipods or the driver? Notice I don't blame the jaywalker just because according to some unnamed people, those walking on the road no matter where are never at fault.

If people are going to use these devices shouldn't it be their right? What about their rights? Does this senator use a cell phone while driving? Or these others who commented in this article?

Pedestrians should most definately keep their lives in mind when crossing the road and should really consider the use of these distracting devices as an attempted suicide. And especially if they're going to be using the crosswalk!!!!
