Hosting 'special' swimming sessions for Ethnic only women and children, based on their religion and their color. And white women are upset about it thinking that it shouldn't matter what race or religion you are, anyone should be able to attend. And even those who normally work the pool are asked to leave in order to bring in special lifeguards and swimming instructors? Wow, now how come the Asian and Blacks get this 'special' treatment?
"Yesterday, swimmer Leslie Waugh, from Walsall, said: "It's wrong. The council bangs on about integration but then does something like this. The women even have their own instructor and lifeguard brought in for the sessions and the regular workers have to leave."I couldn't agree more with this woman really....It does get very difficult to work together, to try to integrate into the lifestyles of another when it gets crammed down your throat or those you try to talk to about your questions end up screaming at you and calling you names if your questions don't agree with them. Or that no one can participate until those special interest groups have their hands covered and cleansed in their own egoism and can take credit for being so diverse.
"Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell said: "This seems to be exactly the sort of thing that creates division and resentment rather than bringing people together."Oh, wait, it says this man is a conservative doesn't it. Well, we should just forget this quote then huh, since by saying this he's automatically disqualified as a man who cares and all his thoughts are based on bigotry.
For myself, holding 'special' classes for those of a different race is quite racist and as the article pointed out, "furious pool-users say they amount to racial segregation..."
